Place Royale, the first settlement of the French civilization in America
Located in the Lower Town in the historic district of Old Quebec, it is considered the oldest French settlement in America.
It is central to the heritage site of Housing-Samuel-De Champlain, filed in 2008, which is the location of the founding of Quebec. There are Notre-Dame-des-Victoires, the oldest stone church in North America. This majestic old church has a depth of about 33 meters, a width of about 26 meters and 40 meters high.
